Teeshay Shah Special Interview
1. How are you feeling about your debut bollywood movie?
Ans. It feels awesome. Bollywood is a difficult place when one has no Godfather or sources. So when you actually get a film in the lead purely through auditions it feels rewarding.
2. Can you share about your role in the movie?
Ans. I will be seen in the character of Jay. Jay is very interesting person. People will see him at his different age. Unlike ordinary man, young jay is very free spirit, jovial, easily approachable and lovable. With time he becomes boring, mature and more responsible. I loved playing both the shades as both side have different personality, body languages and the way he thinks at different age.
3. From Tv to Bollywood! What would be more difficult?
Ans. Films is a difficult medium to an extent because a lot is riding on you, the competition is even more fierce and one opportunity is all that you get if you are lucky. If you fail then its tough to get a second chance. So yes the stakes are huge.
4. Whats next in the pipeline?
Ans. I am currently hosting planet bollywood on zoom. I am also talking to a couple of directors for their respective films. Hopefully, My debut movie goes on to being a hit and make my life little bit more easier.
5. How you feel your life is been changing from past years?
Ans. Whatever may be the medium. Tv or movie, I see myself always doing that kind of work which is satisfying for me as an actor and creatively enriching too. Rest I feel God is great.
6. Your exprience with the team you have shoot for your debut movie TPG?
Ans. Its been great. we all started with a clean slate. There was no baggage. It was a young passionate unit and we enjoyed giving our best for each others too.
7. What about Tv shows, would you like to make comeback?
Ans. If the concept of the show is great then yes! why not? tv is a fabulous medium too.
8. If hosting a show and essaying a charecter you find similar or different any way?
Ans. Yes it is different. While hosting one need not show a range of emotions. There is a pattern like one has to be spontaneous and conversational, while doing films as a character you have to have a graph with a range of emotions if it demands in it. While acting we just becomes more diverse but the common factor is that you have to be at your creative best in both.
9. How you show concern about your health and fitness?
Ans. I have been dancing since five years. I have also represented India in martial arts as a kid. I do practice it till date and ofcourse a trip to the gym is a must regularly apart from eating correctly.
10. Without a Godfather if industry is difficult?
Ans. Firstly, getting the right break is difficult without a Godfather. But if you do get the right break then I believe your talent can help you to survive with or without a godfather. You just need to make the right choices after that and have patience.
