Plot
The web series is based on the saga of the soldiers of the Indian National Army, which was founded by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. It is three hours spread in 5 episodes web series that would make us aware of the formation of the army. It discusses the reason why soldiers from British Army left the nation’s biggest cause along with talking about the struggle of INA and their fight against all odds to free the nation and why few political leaders at the top discredited its soldiers and their efforts. The film is written and directed by Kabir Khan, hence his efforts as a competent filmmaker can be vividly seen in the series. the informative screenplay makes the series engaging along with the action-packed sequences would be interesting to catch along with drama. Kabir was able to unravel some interesting facts about world war II along with the politics that has gone behind along with the dispute the British had with Japanese is also seen.
As the series has been shot on a huge scale, needless to say, that the budget for it is huge and one can find it displaying over the cinematography. The camerawork in the film is brilliant and has captured the war scenes nicely. One can find the action to be raw and so is the case of drama and the emotions. Now, let’s talk about the performances, Sunny Kaushal has done a decent job in his second web series. He was able to put forth a good impression as a soldier in it giving a feel that he is a seasoned actor and not a novice.
He has given a mature and sincere performance playing an INA soldier. The others like Sharvari Wagh as Maya also looked cool with an endearing performance. The others like Rohit Chaudhary, M.K. Raina and Tj Bhanu too have given some decent performances for the web series while the other actors in it including Karanvir Malhotra, Shruti Seth & Toshiji Takeshima did a good job. The other elements like music, photography, technical elements went par giving the best of the deal to the audience.
