Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya 1st Day Box Office Report: Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Film Crosses ₹ 6.50 Crore Mark
Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah’s film “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” made its theatrical debut on Friday, raking in ₹6.50 crore net on its first day, as reported by Sacnilk. Starring Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles, the film initially saw 8.80% occupancy during morning shows, with the night shows witnessing the highest occupancy at around 25.46%. Additionally, the film generated ₹1 crore in revenue through advance booking, selling 45678 tickets for day 1 across India, according to another Sacnilk report.
The movie portrays the tale of an engineer, portrayed by Shahid Kapoor, who develops a romantic entanglement with Sifra, an AI (Artificial Intelligence) female robot played by Kriti Sanon, resulting in a series of comedic mishaps. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar, the film also features veteran stars Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in prominent roles.
Receiving mixed reviews from film critics, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” garnered a rating ranging from 1.5 stars to 3.5 stars out of 5. Criticizing the film’s reliance on the chemistry between Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, one critic remarked, “All the song and dance and the feeble attempts at tickling the funny bone do not yield much dividend. The film relies far too heavily on the chemistry between Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon to help it tide over its gaping crater-sized holes. But since its progress is akin to that of a substandard automaton acquired from the grey market, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya runs on empty and is not even mildly diverting.
