Paresh Rawal and Shilpa Shetty’s Hungama 2 to have an OTT release, details inside
At the beginning of 2020 COVID-19 pandemic situations were seen getting back on track. It gave hope to filmmakers that by the month of March they can release their films on the big screens. However, all the plans got stuck as the second wave of the pandemic hit really hard leaving the situation even worse. Theatres which were on the wage of getting back normal once again have to stud their door. Now once again many filmmakers have to turn to the digital route to release their films amid the uncertainty of the situation.
Now according to the reports Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty, Meezaan Jaffrey, and Pranitha Subhash starer comedy-drama Hungama 2 has taken an OTT route. A day before this news it was reported that Saif Ali Khan starrer Bhoot Police will also premiere on Disney+Hostar. Interestingly Hungama 2, is also going to, release on Disney+sizzlingstar.
According to the information presently producers Ratan Jain, Chetan Jain, and Ganesh Jain are in the process of locking the deal with the streaming giant after which they will do an official announcement.
Hungama 2 was announced in 2019. Talking about the film the filmmaker earlier said, “It has been six years since I directed a Hindi film. Now I am back with a full-on comedy. But no vulgarity, no double meanings. Hungama 2 will be as clean and family-oriented as all my comedies.”
Hungama 2 is a sequel to 2003 released blockbuster film Hungama comedy-drama starring Akshaye Khanna, Aftab Shivdasani, Paresh Rawal, and Rimi Sen in lead. Reportedly, Akshaye Khanna will be seen in a cameo in Hungama 2.
