Recently, In one of his speeches, he spoke on the main reason why 99%
of Start-up fail around the world and shattered the myth of the many outdated practices in the start-up community.
According to him, 99% of start-up owners are inspired by shows like Silicon Valley or TVF pitchers in India or success stories of unicorn start-ups, which is completely wrong because of two reasons; first, they hope to get big fat funding following the same trail as unicorn start-ups, which only 0.00001% gets while rest 99.99% sooner or later die in the dust.
Second, even if you get funding, why do you want to control your idea and company to someone else when you can bootstrap it easily, grow it to a multi-million dollar company by mastering how to get user fast. Why not get a paying user-base yourself by running ads with good SEO content and make your company self-funding instead of relying on the mercy of someone else.
