Teaser of Battle of Galwan to Be Released on Salman Khan’s 60th Birthday, December 27

The year 2025 has been a landmark one for Bollywood’s three Khans—Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan—as each celebrates their 60th birthday. Aamir marked the milestone on March 14, followed by Shah Rukh on November 2. Now, Salman Khan will join the club this Saturday, December 27. Fans are already gearing up for the celebrations, made even more special by the release of the teaser for his upcoming film Battle of Galwan on his big day.A source close to the film told Bollywood Hungama,

“The team has been meticulously working on the teaser, and December 27 is seen as the perfect occasion to unveil it. The teaser will introduce audiences to the world of Battle of Galwan, showcasing the film’s grandeur and scale. It will also highlight Salman Khan in a powerful avatar, which fans are eagerly awaiting.”The source added that before the teaser drops, the makers plan to release one or two posters of the film, possibly on December 25 or 26, although the exact dates are yet to be finalized.

Battle of Galwan stars Salman Khan alongside Chitrangda Singh. Salman portrays Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu, a role inspired by a chapter in the book India’s Most Fearless 3 (2022) by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. The film is based on the tense June 15, 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley during the COVID-19 pandemic, part of a larger border standoff along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, known for Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007), the film promises a gripping retelling of this significant event.
