Teaser of Ajay Devgn’s De De Pyaar De 2 Expected to Release on October 12

The romantic comedy De De Pyaar De (2019) enjoyed decent box office success thanks to its unique storyline, humor, strong performances, and catchy songs. So, excitement built quickly when news of a sequel surfaced. With the film nearly ready and less than two months away from release, sources reveal that the first teaser is set to drop in early October.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “The makers plan to launch the teaser of De De Pyaar De 2 on October 12. While details will become clearer soon, this date is currently being seriously considered by the team.”The source added, “The teaser will offer a glimpse of the film’s theme, its comic madness, and introduce the principal characters, sure to build buzz around this romantic comedy.”

The original De De Pyaar De starred Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and Tabu, and revolved around a 50-year-old divorcee who falls for a 26-year-old woman. Directed by Akiv Ali, it focused on the hilarious chaos that ensues as he tries to gain his family’s approval. The sequel, directed by Anshul Sharma, introduces R. Madhavan as Rakul’s father.

Reports suggest the story centers on the comedic rivalry between Ajay and Madhavan, sparked by Rakul’s character dating a man older than her own father. Produced by Luv Films and T-Series, De De Pyaar De 2 is slated for theatrical release on November 14.Recently, fans shared pictures from a promotional song shoot for the film, filmed at a restobar in Mumbai, adding to the excitement surrounding the sequel.
