Filmmaker Veknat Prabhu ‘Arrested’ by Naga Chaitanya in this funny promo of their upcoming film ‘Custody’
Actor Naga Chaitanya is going to play a lead in filmmaker Venkat Prabhu’s next explosive political, action-drama ‘Custody’. Last month, the film’s makers released an action-packed teaser.
However, the producers have already released another interesting and funny promo. In this new promo, though, we see a kind of role reversal. Director Venkat Prabhu plays a jailed criminal, and Naga Chaitanya plays police policeman Shiva.
We see them speaking about some trivial issue in the two and a half minute clip, but their conversation eventually shifts to the release of their film’s first track. As a result, they contact Yuvan Shankar Raja to obtain an update and to release the details of their first single. They disclose near the end of the trailer that the film’s first song ‘Head Up High’ will be out in two days on 10 April 2023.
‘Custody,’ directed by Venkat Prabhu, is a Telugu-Tamil multilingual action-thriller set to hit theatres on May 12, 2023. Krithi Shetty, Arvind Swamy, Sampath Raj, Sarathkumar, Premji, Vennela Kishore, Premi Vishwanath, and Priyamani also play important roles in the film. Arvind Swami takes on the role of the main antagonist.

According to media sources, Naga Chaitanya is currently dating actress Shobhita Dhulipala. Reports of their relationship have been circulating since August 2022, but they really took off last week Friday, when a photo of them together began circulating on social media.
