Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa starring Gehraiyaan is just a day away from the release.
Directed by Shakun Batra, the premiere of the film was held on Wednesday night and saw the actors step out in their stylish best.
The Central Board of Film Certification has given Gehraiyaan an ‘A’ certificate ahead of its distribution on streaming platform Amazon Prime Video (CBFC). The film was cleared by the CBFC without a single cut.
Even though the Examining Committee did not make any cut in the film, they did recommend a few modifications after watching the film.
The EC’s suggestions were apparently followed, and the picture now has an ‘Adults Only’ certificate. Gehraiyaan has been making waves for its intimate and kissing sequences since the trailer was released.
Deepika, while talking about the film said, “The one thing I have learnt from this film is not to judge because there is always a reason why they do what they do. The minute you understand the emotion or the thought process behind the action, there is automatically empathy,” the actress had earlier quoted as saying.
Another song from the film, Beqaaboo, was published and received a lot of positive comments from the audience. Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi appear in the song. Gehraiyaan will premiere on February 11th on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. Siddhant Chaturvedi, Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karwa work together for the first time in this film. The first song from the film, Doobey, went viral within no time and people are loving it.
