Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan the father-son duo appears together on screen for the first time in a new ad
Aryan Khan and Shah Rukh Khan posted a preview video of the campaign for Aryan’s limited-edition luxury streetwear D’yavol X’ yesterday. The ad’s teaser video, which was also directed by Aryan, hinted that Shah Rukh Khan will appear in it. Both father and son have now published a full video of the commercial, which also marks Aryan’s directorial debut.

The commercial begins with a frantic Aryan attempting to come up with the perfect logo or catchphrase for his clothes line. The words ‘quintessential’ and ‘timeless’ appear on the board, but Aryan is not content with his own ideas. Finally, dissatisfied with not being able to come up with a novel idea, Aryan throws aside the chalk and draws a red line through the board with a red paintbrush.
Soon after, Shah Rukh Khan enters the frame and observes the board. He takes up the paintbrush again and slashes another line across the red paint on the board to create the appearance of a cross mark. As a result, D’yavol X became the brand’s emblem. The video concludes with Shah Rukh seated on the steps, holding a paintbrush.

The collection will be released on April 30, 2023, but Aryan and Shah Rukh Khan have already given fans a glimpse of the brand identity with the black sweatshirts they wore at the recently held Kolkata Knight Riders’ matches in several locations.
This is Aryan’s first commercial collaboration with Shah Rukh. Shah Rukh has already stated that his son has no plans to follow in his father’s footsteps in acting and will instead work behind the camera. The 25-year-old has already written and will shortly begin directing his debut web series.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh will next be seen in Tamil filmmaker Atlee Kumar’s pan-Indian action thriller ‘Jawan,’ alongside Nayathara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Sanya Malhotra. The film is set to be released in theatres on 2 June , 2023.
