Akshay Kumar’s Film ‘Sky Force’ Wraps Up Production, Confirmed for October 2, 2024 Release

Akshay Kumar, known for his versatility, is eager to explore different types of roles that his fans love to see him in. Among the numerous films lined up for the year, one of them is “Sky Force,” which boasts an ensemble cast. Produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, the film promises to offer a diverse range of content, from action to mass appeal, catering to all kinds of audiences.

For those unaware, “Sky Force” was announced last year, creating palpable anticipation among audiences. Now that the film has officially wrapped up, a source close to the project has shared an exciting update. According to a highly placed industry source, filming for “Sky Force” commenced in May 2023. Directors Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur have shot this action-packed drama inspired by a real-life story in various locations, including Mumbai, Lucknow, Sitapur, Amritsar, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pathankot, UK, USA, and several others. The source further revealed, “The entire one-year shooting time frame was necessary to manage the schedules of the ensemble cast, obtain permissions from different government departments, and meet production standards. The team has filmed some exhilarating action sequences.”

Interestingly, director Sandeep Kewlani took to social media today and shared a cheerful video from the sets with the caption, “And it’s a wrap! Thanks, team! #SkyForce 2nd October 2024.” This grand-scale entertainer is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 2, 2024.

“Sky Force” also features debutants Veer Pahariya, Nimrat Kaur, Sharad Kelkar, and Sara Ali Khan. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, and Jyoti Deshpande. It is directed by the duo of Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, with the script written by Sandeep Kewlani, along with additional dialogues and screenplay by Niren Bhatt and Aamil Keeyan Khan.
