As ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ completes one year, makers CONFIRM KGF: Chapter 3
Today. 14 April marks the one year anniversary of Yash-starrer ‘KGF Chapter 2′. On the first anniversary, makers of the film, which transformed the history of Kannada cinema, introduced Yash as one of the most sought after stars of Indian cinema, and established Prashanth Neel as one of India’s top directors, teased fans about KGF 3.
In honour of KGF 2’s first anniversary, the film’s makers Hombale Films have dropped a two minute video. The video includes a brief clip titled “Revisiting Rocky Empire,” which depicts moments from KGF 2 and crowd cheers. The makers have expertly incorporated all versions’ dialogues into this two-minute video. The preview video poses a question to KGF fans towards the end of the clip: “Where was Rocky from 1978 to 1981?”

It also states that the “Mother of all collisions has yet to be witnessed.” The clip also poses the question, “Was the promise kept?” in reference to Rocky Bhai’s pledge to his mother about dominating the world.
Fans began trending #KGF3 on social media as soon as the teaser trailer was released, with many speculating that the KGF 2 conclusion was really a cover-up tale and not the actual occurrence. Many also started predicting that Prashanth Neel’s new directorial attempt ‘Salaar,’ starring Prabhas, might very well tie into Yash’s KGF universe.

KGF: Chapter 2, which also featured Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj, and Raveena Tondon in prominent roles, grossed over Rs. 1200 crores, making it the third highest grossing film in Indian cinema history.
