Today marks the first wedding anniversary of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. On April 14, 2022, the most famous real-life couple in Bollywood married the knot in a private ceremony at their home, Vaastu, in Mumbai, and to commemorate the one-year anniversary of their wedding, Alia took to Instagram to post three previously unseen photos from her “happy day.”

The first photo is from their Haldi ceremony, and it shows their faces coated with turmeric paste. The second image from their romantic proposal is the most popular.  Ranbir is seen on his knees, popping the question, while Alia seems to be blushing and smiling. The third image shows Alia and Ranbir happily embracing each other.

The post’s comment section was inundated with admirers congratulating the couple and wishing them a happy first wedding anniversary.

The couple apparently dated for more than 5 years before marrying. On November 6, last year, they welcomed their first child, a baby daughter named Raha.

Following their wedding, the couple co-starred in Ayan Mukerji’s action-fantasy film ‘Brahmstra: Part One – Shiva (2022),’ the first of a three-part action fantasy film series.

Alia will be seen next in Karan Johar’s romantic comedy ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,’ in which she will co-star with Ranveer Singh for the second time after Gully Boy (2019).

Ranbir, on the other hand, is now enjoying the success of his recently released rom-com ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ and is looking forward to the release of his next gangster drama ‘Animal’ (2023), in which he will share screen space with Rashmika Mandanna.
