Multi-starrer Kannada language gangster drama ‘Kabzaa’ which hit the theatres on 17 March, is set to have its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video India. The gangster drama, which starred Upendra, Kichcha Sudeepa, and Shriya Saran, will have its OTT premiere on Prime Video on 14 April.

Prime Video announced the OTT premiere date on Twitter social media by sharing the film’s poster with a caption that read, “a tale of unforeseen circumstances transforming an innocent young man into the most dreaded gangster ever!  #KabzaaOnPrime, Apr 14

The film’s Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam dubbed versions will also begin streaming on the same day.
In addition to Upendra, Kichcha Sudeepa, and Shriya Saran, the film also starred Murali Sharma, Suneel Puranik, Sudha, B Suresha, and Posani Murali Krishna in pivotal roles.

Kabzaa tells the story of a simple man who, through unforeseeable events, becomes the country’s most dreaded criminal in the years that follow. Arkeshwara (Upendra), the younger son of a murdered liberation fighter who tragically loses his elder brother to violence, has a tumultuous emotional past and present. As a result of his familial losses, he goes on a vengeful rampage, eventually becoming the dreaded and unrivalled king of the underworld.

Kabzaa, directed by Chandru, was apparently compared to the hit KGF, featuring superstar Yash. The film was apparently made on a budget of Rs 120 crores, and many expected it to break the KGF-Part 1 record.  However, the picture failed to impress audiences and was a box office flop.
