Rannvijay Singha resigned from Roadies due to squabbles with the production house

Rannvijay Singha has been a part of MTV’s reality show Roadies since his initial days. The VJ/actor started off his journey with Roadies as a contestant with its season one in 2003. After that Rannvijay stuck to the show as a VJ and was also appeared in other MTV shows as a host. The journey from a contestant to a VJ and then a judge is quite a roller coaster for the latter.

Well, now after a decade, a source has confirmed that Rannvijay Singha will be no more a part of Roadies upcoming season. The source shared, “A new production house is helming the upcoming season. And Singha was not very pleased with the production house. They had to part ways.”

Recently, Singha also confirmed the same during an interview. He said, “The channel has been a key pillar of my journey and I’ll be doing interesting work with them. On this edition of Roadies, things didn’t work out from both sides. Our dates were not matching and it is disheartening.”

A news portal has reportedly stated that Rannvijay will be replaced by Bollywood actor Sonu Sood. However, till now none of the officials have confirmed this news. Not just that, the makers have also dropped the concept of gang leaders, due to which Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula, and others leaders will also not be part of the show. The upcoming season will be shot in South Africa and will go on air from February 14.

Currently, the VJ is hosting Sony’s show titled Shark Tank India. The show is the Indian franchise of the American show Shark Tank. It shows entrepreneurs making business presentations to a panel of five investors or sharks, who decide whether to invest in their company. In this show, many businessmen and businesswomen come up with their unique and new business idea. Hosted by Rannvijay Singha, the show contains six judges including Namita Thapar of Emcure Pharma, Anupam Mittal of Shaadi.com, Ghazal Alagh of Mamaearth, Peyush Bansal of Lenskart, Aman Gupta of Boat, and Vineeta Singh of Sugar Cosmetics.
