Diljit Dosanjh dances, throws cash from his LV bag as he announces dates of his world tour
On Sunday actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh announced new dates of his ongoing world tour. Diljit will perform in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada during the next leg of the Born To Shine Tour, which will take place from June to August 2022. He will begin the leg on June 19 in Vancouver.
He announced the tour on Instagram, posting a video of himself performing a portion of his song, Born To Shine, from his album G.O.A.T., which was released in 2021.
Diljit, who has appeared in both Punjabi and Hindi films, is known for posting the funniest videos on social media, and his latest Instagram post did not disappoint. “Born To Shine World Tour 2022. See you this summer folks…”
Diljit is seen throwing currency notes as he walks around carrying cash and a Louis Vuitton bag, with the lyrics ‘paise poose baare billo soche duniya, Jatt paida hoya bas chhaun vaaste’ (world only thinks about money, but I am born to shine) playing in the background. Diljit clarified his caption for the video, in which he is seen surrounded by women, near the end, “Paise Nakli Ain… Dil Te Na La Leyo (the money used is fake, don’t take it to heart).”

“It took a lot of planning and hard work to finally get to this point and perform in India. The Born To Shine world tour has been a magnificent experience for me. As a performer, nothing matters more to me than to entertain my fans and the shows at Gurugram and Jalandhar helped me connect with them after a long time,” Diljit was previously quoted as saying in a Daijiworld report.
Diljit had previously shared the poster for his upcoming film, Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne, in May. The Punjabi film, which also stars actor Sargun Mehta, will be released later this year. Amarjit Singh Saron, a well-known Punjabi filmmaker, will direct the film.
