Karan Mehra talks of how he feels for not meeting his son amidst his ongoing legal fight with wife Nisha Rawal

Karan Mehra, a popular TV actor, made headlines a few months ago after his estranged wife Nisha Rawal filed a domestic abuse case against him. The estranged couple is currently involved in a legal struggle over their son Kavish’s custody and divorce. Karan claims he hasn’t seen his four-year-old son Kavish in over 100 days because of the ongoing court battle. The actor stated in a recent interview that it has been a very emotional and hard moment for him and his family.

While speaking to Hindustan Times, Mehra stated, “It has been more than three months and I am fighting the battle. The matter is subjudice so I don’t want to talk much about it. I have not seen Kavish for more than 100 days, not able to enter my home or take my belongings. It has been an emotional, disturbing and painful time for all of us. We are fighting it as a family.”

The actor went on to say that everyone in his family has been unfairly accused, including his father, who is a heart sick, and that it is not appropriate to put his parents through this.

“It is quite disturbing. The proceedings, the process and the fight are not easy. I am out of my house while she and her brother are in the house, aaram se,” Karan further said.

Mehra, who is now filming a Punjabi show, also stated that he has proof of his innocence and will share it with the authorities at the appropriate moment. He stated that he did not want Kavish to see the accounts of their fights on the internet and that a public trial is not something he is interested in.

Karan Mehra shared a nostalgic video of him playing with his son a few days ago. The actor stated that he missed his son and hoped to see him soon.
