Aamir Khan has been a hot favorite in China. The country is now emerging as a good market place for B Town. Even some small time films have been doing a decent business at the box office in the country. The films like Andhadhun and Mom bears the testimony to this fact. The Chinese seem to be loving the Indian movies and now as per the latest buzz, they are all set to remake a film Taare Zameen Par in Chinese, which was directed and produced by Aamir Khan.
The film Taare Zameen Par has been among the few films from B Town, which was screened in China with the subtitles during the 60th anniversary of Indo-China diplomatic ties. Even the film was not released in China it remained among the most pirated films in the country. The film also was released in China with the Mandarin subtitles. As per the sources, China does not allow to release the film there that remain two or more year older.
Considering this issue, the filmmakers in China have decided to remake the film Taare Zameen Par in their local language. The film is produced under their own banner, while it will be directed by Ma Duo. Recently, the Indian films have done we at the box office like for example Mom scored 9.8 Crores on the first day and it was released in 38,500 screens in China, while made under the banner Zee Studios International last week.
