Kareena Kapoor’s spokesperson confirms on not doing any web series based on K3G character of Poo

Kareena Kapoor has been an epic Bollywood actor delivery some of the finest and even lip-smacking performance on the big screen. There had been a number of rumors about her performing for a web series based on her popular character of Poo from K3G. However, Kareena’s representative has simply scrapped any such reports that the actor will be appearing for a web series based on her famed character of Poo from the 2001’s Karan Johar’s hit film, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

Web series is currently the new craze of Bollywood. In fact, even the big star bugs are seen joining the bandwagon. Popular names like Akshay Kumar, Madhuri Dixit, Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddique, have been the top names in this league. Flowing with the trend, speculations were high on Kareena Kapoor soon being a part of an upcoming series tentatively titled as Poo Diaries. However, the actor’s official representatives have scraped it all.

As per media reports,  the series was conceptualized around Kareena’s highly memorable character of Poo that appeared in the 2001 family drama, Kabhi Khush Kabhie Gham (KKKG), directed by Karan Johar.

Kareena’s team while talking to a media platform quoted the facts on this and mentioned, “The reports are completely false. There is no truth to the digital series.”

Kareena is currently busy wrapping her shoot for Good News, a film starring Akshay, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. It’s a comedy film revolving around the lead couple, Akshay and Kareena, who are trying for a baby while, Diljit and Kiara are playing the role of a Punjabi couple. Kareena is also busy with her ongoing shooting for the film, Angrezi Medium, the sequel to 2017’s Irrfan Khan’s surprise hit Hindi Medium. The film is once again including the return of Irrfan’s return to films after his tough cancer treatment in London all through 2018. Later this year, Kareena will also has Karan’s directorial Takht, a multi-starrer including Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor to work on.
