Taapsee Pannu collaborates with Viacom18 for ‘Dhak Dhak’ starring Dia, Sanjana, Fatima, Ratna Shah

Get ready for the journey of a lifetime as Viacom18 Studios and Taapsee Pannu‘s Outsiders Films Productions, in collaboration with BLM Pictures, announce the release of their new film ‘Dhak Dhak.’ The studio that brought you Kahaani, Queen, Mary Kom, and Padmaavat has now teamed up with Outsiders Films to bring you a riveting story about four women and their life-changing trek to the world’s highest motorable pass.

Taking to their social media account, Viacom18 tweeted, “Join the ride of a lifetime with Dhak Dhak, as four women ride to the highest motorable pass in the world on an exciting journey of self discovery!

Commenting on the association, Ajit Andhare, COO, Viacom18 Studios says, “Dhak Dhak is a heart-warming story of four women undertaking a trip breaking out of their cocoons & discovering themselves through this journey of introspection & adventure. This was the perfect script and resonates well with the DNA of our storytelling.”

Dhak Dhak stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza and Sanjana Sanghi as protagonists. Dhak Dhak, is co-produced by Taapsee Pannu, Pranjal Khandhdiya and Ayush Maheshwari. The film is co-written by Parijat Joshi and Tarun Dudeja & directed by Tarun Dudeja.

The film is now under production and will hit cinema screens in 2023.
