Swasika Vijay is an actress and anchor on Malayalam Television and movies. She is presently acting in the serial named Chintavishishtaya Seetha on Asianet Channel. Swasika is playing the titular role of Seetha in this serial. Previously she was seen in Dathuputhri on Mazhavil Manorama.
Personal Life: Swasika is the daughter of Mr. Vijaykumar and Girija. Her father works as an accountant while her mother is a home maker. The family resides in Ernakulam. She has a younger brother pursuing his degree in Muvattupuzha.
Swasika as a dancer: Swasika has great inclination towards dancing from her young age. She also has a dance academy named Navrasa dance classes in Ernakulam. Swasika is dedicated to dancer as dance, she says, is her passion. She had even won the title of Kalathilakam in 2006. Its been 16 years that Swasika is training herself in dance forms like Bharatnatyam, Kuchipuddi and Mohiniattam.
Swasika in films:
Swasika started her career in films with the Tamil Film industry. She played the lead in the film ‘Vaigai’ which came in the year 2009. It was directed by none other than Sundarapandi. Later she starred in films like Goripalayam, Maithanam Shanti and Appuchi Gramam.
Swasika’s Malayalam venture came in the year 2010 with the film Cinema Company. Though it did not bring her any success, Swasika established herself as an actress and accepted more roles with potential.
In a short span of time, Swasika played important roles in films like Ayalum Njanum Thammil, Banking hours 10 to 4, Prabhuvinte Makkal, Orissa, Parayam Baki Vachathu, On the Way, Mizhiyoram, Kandadhum Kaanaathadum, PAnduvum, Saathai, Sokkali, At Once , Celebration and Kattum Mazhayum.

In the serial Dathuputri, aired on Mazhavil Manorama, Swasika played the lead role of the adopted daughter, Kanmani. She is a village girl who has been adopted by a affluent family.
Swasika, in Chintavishishtaya Seetha, plays the lead title role of Seetha. It is family drama with the lead character Seetha being the pivotal member of the family who keeps the family together. The serial is being aired on Asianet. Swasika stated in a recent interview that she has experienced huge admiration from her fans after she took up the role of Seetha. The serial is getting high TRPs thanks to her popularity.
