Swara Bhaskar who is quite active on social media with her unapologetic opinions has recently clapped back at a Twitter user. The user slammed her selfie in a saree and commented that their household help ‘looks much better’.
She hoped the individual appreciated their domestic help’s “labour and dignity.”
Swara shared a picture of herself at a park, wearing a saree on Wednesday . “A sari, a park, a walk, a book… ‘at peace’ must feel like this #smalljoys #gratitude #feelingwise,” she wrote. A Twitter user commented, “My maid looks much better than you in saree. Much more graceful than you.”

Replying to the user, Swara wrote, “I’m sure your household help is beautiful. I hope you respect her labour and her dignity & don’t act like a creep with her.”
Swara Bhasker responded to a harsh remark regarding her saree photo.
Swara previously lambasted a guy who mocked her Vogue magazine cover, saying, “Finally, Nallasopara has a face in Vogue.” Congratulations to everyone.” Many low-income households live in Nallasopara, a town on Mumbai’s outskirts.
“And why not?!? Nallasopara should get a face and space in @VOGUEIndia as should Dharavi… And Shahdara, & Seelampur… why the hell not you pretentious half-wit pretending to be ‘elite’… You live off the labour of those who live in the areas whose names you use like slur… #loser,” she replied.
Swara has appeared in films like as Raanjhanaa, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Nil Battey Sannata, and Veere Di Wedding since her debut in Tanu Weds Manu. She appeared in various OTT projects last year, including Amazon Prime Video’s Rasbhari, Eros Now’s Flesh, and Netflix’s Bhaag Beanie Bhaag.
Swara will next be featured in Sheer Qorma, a same-sex love storey starring Divya Dutta and Shabana Azmi. Faraz Arif Ansari is the director of the short film.
