Sunny Deol, Karan Deol, and Preity G Zinta to Meet Partition Survivors During Punjab Tour for Batwara 1947

The promotional campaign for Aamir Khan Productions’ upcoming historical drama Batwara 1947 is moving to Punjab following promotional stops in Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Patna, and Lucknow. As part of their tour across the state, cast members Sunny Deol, Karan Deol, and Preity G Zinta are scheduled to visit the Partition Museum and meet directly with survivors of the 1947 Partition.
The visit holds deep personal significance for the actors, particularly Sunny Deol, who has previously shared emotional accounts passed down by his grandparents about their experiences during the migration. Reflecting on those family memories during the film’s trailer launch, Deol recalled hearing how local villagers banded together to protect and hide one another during periods of widespread unrest.
