Sunil Grover returns as Dr. Mashoor Gulati but this time not for The Kapil Sharma Show, details inside
When Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma used to work together we saw some of the best episodes of The Kapil Sharma Show. They gave some masterpieces in the shape of Gutthi, Dr. Mashoor Gulati, and others. Years later, on India’s Laughter Champion, the Tandav actor dressed up in his renowned role. That’s all he’s got to say about it.
As most know back in 2017 when Sunil and Kapil were returning from their Australian tour. Their scuffle occurred in mid-air, and the TKSS presenter was accused of verbally insulting and beating his co-star. Sunil Grover left the comedy programme as a result of this, and despite Salman Khan’s attempts, he never returned.
Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma are now friends and have been spotted respectfully greeting one other on various occasions. Despite the new circumstances, the Bharat actor was never invited back to The Kapil Sharma Show. He was recently seen reprising his role as Dr Mashoor Gulati on India’s Laughter Champion.
When asked about the same he was quoted as saying, “I wanted to do it for myself. I enjoyed dressing up as Dr Mashoor Gulati after a long time. It was just for one episode. That’s it, and I felt nice.”
Sunil said when questioned about his children’s reactions to his dressing up as a lady. “It’s been a while now. They are immune to it. Till the time the cheque is coming in Sunil Grover’s name, everyone is happy.”
Meanwhile, Sunil Grover has a lot to look forward to, he will soon be featured in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Amitabh Bachchan’s Goodbye.
