Star-Studded Spectacle: Raja Shivaji Trailer Launch Set for April 20
The anticipation for the epic historical drama Raja Shivaji is about to reach a fever pitch. In what is being hailed as one of the year’s most significant cinematic events, the film’s trailer will be unveiled in a grand ceremony on April 20 at Jio World Drive, BKC, Mumbai.
A Powerhouse Ensemble
The launch will be a star-studded affair, reflecting the massive scale of this production. According to a source from Bollywood Hungama, the event will see the attendance of the film’s high-profile cast and crew, including the lead actors Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh. The film has an interesting extended cast which include Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Fardeen Khan, Bhagyashree, and Sachin Khedekar. The Creative Minds include acclaimed music directors Ajay-Atul and producer Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios.
Dual Release: Hindi and Marathi
In a nod to the film’s broad appeal, the team will unveil trailers in both Hindi and Marathi. Following the successful release of the anthem ‘Chhatrapati’—which has already garnered significant attention online—the makers are confident that the trailer will further amplify the buzz surrounding the project.

Raja Shivaji is a cinematic tribute to the life and legacy of India’s legendary warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Produced by Jio Studios and Mumbai Film Company, the project is spearheaded by Genelia Deshmukh and Jyoti Deshpande.
Promising a blend of historical scale, emotional soul, and visual spectacle, the film is scheduled for a pan-India release on May 1, 2026, coinciding with Maharashtra Day.
