Star Plus Unveils Promo for Gaurav Khanna and Shraddha Arya Starrer ‘Dil Ki Bewafaiyaan’
Star Plus has officially announced the title of its upcoming romantic family drama, Dil Ki Bewafaiyaan, starring Gaurav Khanna and Shraddha Arya in the lead roles. Produced by Ektaa R. Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms, the show brings the two prominent television actors together on screen for the first time.
The announcement follows weeks of industry speculation triggered by a teaser showing Khanna and Arya arriving at the Balaji Telefilms office. The project marks Khanna’s return to daily fiction after Anupamaa, while Arya makes her screen comeback following her long-running stint in Kundali Bhagya. This project represents Arya’s second project with Balaji Telefilms and Khanna’s initial collaboration with Kapoor.
Producer Ektaa R. Kapoor expressed confidence in the leading pair, noting that bringing the two actors together had been a long-standing objective. Following the conclusion of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2.0, Kapoor highlighted her intention to introduce a fresh narrative focus. “Kyunki gave viewers a finale to remember. Now, it’s time to give them a new beginning they’ll fall in love with,” Kapoor stated regarding the project’s launch.

Pre-production activities for Dil Ki Bewafaiyaan are currently underway. Khanna and Arya recently attended a traditional multi-faith prayer ceremony ahead of shooting, with visual updates shared across social media platforms. Production sets previously used for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2.0 are reportedly being redesigned to accommodate the new series.
While Star Plus has not yet confirmed the final broadcast schedule, industry reports indicate that Dil Ki Bewafaiyaan is slated for a late November launch post-Diwali, with the channel considering a prime-time 9:00 PM time slot. Official confirmation regarding the premiere date and broadcast schedule is expected shortly from the network.
