Review
The story is based on some real events, and to write one for a film happens to be a toughest job on earth. Lots of research work is involved however, looking at the story of Raid, one can call it to be a mind blowing job in presenting what really happened and filtering that can be seen along with keeping the entertaining factor alive. At times you may get the feeling of things coming as real, however, the very first scene of the film establishes the character of Ajay Devgn and it goes rest of the film turning stable and worth to watch.
Talking about the performances, Ajay Devgn has simply nailed it with an incredible perfomance. Similar is the story of Saurabh Shukla who is the real of the movie in terms of perfomance. Remember his past performnaces particularly Jolly LLB and Jolly LLB 2 and for the former he has bagged the national award as well. He is simply incredible in his character of a dreaded politician. Ileana D’Cruz also seemed good with charming looks while Amit Sial as Lallan Sudheer has also done a decent job. Talking about the direction, performance and other elements, these things remained good helping to boost up the entertainment value. However, the climax seems dull and underwhelming to a great extent.
Raid – The Last Word
You can watch this film for some good performances and well researched and presented story. However, if you are an Ajay Devgn fan then it will not be an unavoidable one. Catch this weekend for a good entertainment film.
