The latest superhero movie Spider-Man: Homecoming is back in news for its massive box office this passing week. The film had a grand opening on its first week with the collection reaching to $257 million worldwide, which was reported by the trade website Box Office Mojo. Digging deeper into this report, the film managed to make around 117 USD million in the United States alone, which was released in around 4348 theatres in this country. Without making any inflation the makers were able to declare the film as the second highest opening weekend ever in the nation once the earlier film Spider Man 3 has bagged 151 USD million in the year 2007.

Now talking about the business In India, the film from Jon Watts has done well giving a decent collection. As per reports, the box office collection for Spider-Man: Homecoming has tolled to around 30 crores, which was released in the 1400 screens. In fact, the film has managed to beat the other B Town films released in Indian called Mom and the comedy movie Guest In London, which seemed to have gone with the figures like 8 crores with mere 700 screens and similar was the story of Mom which managed to get around 14.40 in the first week with 1260 screens.

The reason why the spider man film is doing well is due to its excellent reviews and it has appeared the best in the recent times claims the trade expert from the magazine complete cinema. And despite seeing a number of installments the second reboot of the said franchise has marveled over the box office.  The film has been the talk of the town in entire social media platforms thanks to the huge buzz created by its media and promotional partners over the board in India. Well, it seems that the film is likely to move with the same pace in the coming times.
