Guest in London VS MOM first week box office collection

Guest in London and MOM

If you look at the current buzz in the box office stories, it’s the superhero film that seems to be leading the show. However, the other two releases in B Town last Friday seems to be going in a bad phase. Thanks to the poor performances of these films, which remained overshadowed by the Spider – Man: Homecoming movie. Now, let’s focus on the B Town releases that came last year. Let’s start about the film called Mom, which features Sridevi in the lead role. The film however, has managed to grab a decent review but considering the fact that it has managed to get good applauds for the role of Sridevi for her finest performance so far over the silver screen.

The film starring Sridevi called Mom stood up for portraying the crime against women. As per reports, the film has released in around 1260 screens and has managed to gain a decent space in the number of screens. However, it couldn’t impress the box office for the obvious reasons. Despite getting a decent screen counts, the film has managed to score a low figure. As per reports, the first week box office collection for Mom has netted to around 15 crores. The film is likely to get less collection the coming week for the grand release of the film Jagga Jasoos.

Now talking about the other movie called Guest in London, the film has managed to low score with limited number of screens that tolled to around 700 only. Having said that the film has earned poor figures at the box office, which started with 1.50 crore on the first day followed by 2.75 crores on the second day giving a total of around 6 crore. The occupancy of the film has been in a bad shape ever since the film has hit the theatres. One of the basic reasons why the film has been down in collection is due to the low figures only because of its bad reviews.
