South star Naga Chaitanya spotted outside Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office, netizens say, “Make Devdas”

Popular South actor Naga Chaitanya who is in Mumbai for Laal Singh Chaddha promotions was spotted leaving Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office yesterday. Fans of the actor are excited to know whether they are working together on a new film. Some of them also urged him to make Devdas remake whose original version was also made by the filmmaker.

An interesting thing is that Chaitanya’s grandfather Nageswara Rao has also played Devdas in a Telugu version of the popular movie. The 1953 movie was titled ‘Devadasu’ and is one of the most popular onscreen characters even today.

As the actor came out, the paps quickly clicked his pictures which later went viral on the internet.

One fan wrote in Telugu, “Ask Bhansali to work on Devdas with him.” Another one wrote, “Finally, the biggest filmmaker of Hindi Cinema is extracting our hidden gem.” Chaitanya could be seen in a black t-shirt paired with light brown khaki chinos in the photograph shared on paparazzi and fan pages on social media.

Naga Chaitanya was last seen in “Thank You which was a box office flop. He will be next seen in Aamir’s Laal Singh Chaddha where he plays the character of his close friend. This movie marks the Bollywood debut of the actor. Earlier, he avoided doing Hindi films due to his issues and less familiarity with the language.

Chaitanya will now start filming for his next movie Venkat Prabhu which will be accessible in Tamil and Telugu. According to reports, this is the first project after his separation from ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He worked on the Telugu drama ‘Love Story’ last year which performed well in theatres and is counted as one of the biggest hits given by the actor.
