The B Town has been receiving a shutdown all thanks to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the world. We see films like Sooryavanshi and 83 starring Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh respectively to be pushed for further dates. But as per reports, these two films are going to face losses as they do not have the insurance cover for the same by any of the Insurance companies in the country.
Many of the films released in B Town have insurance cover that takes care of their losses in case it fails to get over the screens. But with no insurance cover being procured by the makers of these films, they are going to face the music. The Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan starrer film Angreji Medium and Baaghi 3 were the two films that were released in the screens before the lockdown. As per reports, an insider of a leading insurance company has revealed that since Feb the Insurance companies have excluded the clause of COVID 19 virus.
This is similar to the case of insurance being covered for the diagnosis for any ailment that requires a surgery for the treatment. So with the losses now included in the insurance cover for the COVID 19 outbreak, the makers of both the films are likely to face huge loose as they will not be paid by the insurance companies. Akshay Kumar film was supposed to release on March 24 while 83 was supposed to hit on April 10 but they have been pushed to further dates.
