MS. Dhoni: The Untold Story Not Banned In Pakistan

MS dhoni-the untold story movie date announced

MS Dhoni: The Untold Story releasing today was earlier heard of being banned in Pakistan in retaliation to India’s reaction on Urvi attacks, however, the censor board in Pak simply denied such news. The official spokesperson of Pak based censor board denied such news and said that the film will be released in their country.

However, he also pointed out that the film was never sent to Pak for any certification. This news surfaced when the rumors of the film is banned in Pakistan was heard. It was then when the Pak based censor board issued a statement clarifying the same. The official said, the film without being submitted for the certification cannot be banned.

The local distributors are still to apply for the NOC of the film claimed Mobashir Hasan the chairperson of Pak based censor board. The officer said that the films are certified after checking the film content and the way it can harm the integrity and sovereignty of the film.  The officer also said that they do not treat Indian films with any special instructions given by political parties but always give unbiased opinion about the same.

He further said that the Indian media is portraying it wrongly about the board and the way it has been rating the Indian films. He informed that Banjo was released with U rating but the audience in Pak didn’t like it hence the theatres have to remove the same.  The officer said we do not ban films on the grounds of hostility due to political situation between the two nations. So, in other words, the film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story directed by Neeraj Pandey not banned in Pakistan, but the fact is it is yet to be submitted at the Pak censor board.
