Sonakshi Sinha to essay a cop in Nikkhil Advani’s ‘Snow’

Bollywood Shotgun Junior Sonakshi Sinha is all set to entertain the viewers in her upcoming film ‘Ittefaq’ that releases this Friday. Sonakshi will star opposite Sidharth Malhotra in this thriller. The trailer of ‘Ittefaq’ is getting good response and now the wait is for the tale to unfold.

Prior to this, Sonakshi was seen essaying a journalist in the film ‘Noor’. The news report stated that Sonakshi Sinha will star in Nikkhil Advani’s next venture titled ‘Snow’. Sonakshi will render the role of a badass cop in this flick, which is said to be based on real incident. Saif Ali Khan is also likely to be seen in the role of a cop in this film.

Talking about this, the director Advani said “Sonakshi and I had been in talks for another film revolving around a real-life incident in which she’s been paired opposite Saif (Ali Khan). I was comfortable with her so once Ranjit’s script was complete, I shared it with her. She showed interest during the narration, we are now waiting for her final revert.” It’s a film that narrates the tale of a serial killer, said Advani.

The director Advani is impressed with the action stunts and performance by Sonakshi in the films like ‘Force 2’ and ‘Akira’ and he feels that the actress fits the bill. A large portion of this movie will be filmed during the winters in Manali, as snow is the key element in this tale.

This production by Nikkhil Advani will be helmed by Ranjit Tiwari. The recent release ‘Lucknow Central’ was the debut directorial of Tiwari. The film ‘Snow’ is said to be a blend of ‘The Girl On The Train’ by Tate Taylor and David Fincher’s ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’.
