Ektaa R Kapoor, celebrated for her successful ventures in both television and film, is teaming up with The Viral Fever (TVF) to present unique yet commercially appealing stories on the big screen. This upcoming film is part of a broader collaboration between Balaji Telefilms and TVF. A source quoted by PinkVilla stated, “Ekta Kapoor and TVF have joined forces to deliver distinctive yet commercial narratives. This project falls under the agreement between Balaji and TVF, and discussions with Sidharth Malhotra are ongoing.”
A Film Inspired by Folklore and Mythology
Currently in the pre-production phase, the film is described as content-rich and deeply rooted in folklore, drawing inspiration from Hindu mythology. The source further elaborated, “It’s a high-drama, emotional film set against a backdrop of folklore deeply embedded in Hindu mythology. The creators aim to craft a unique cinematic experience akin to Kantara.”Sidharth Malhotra is expected to receive the final script narration in November 2024. Upon approval of the final version, he is likely to sign on for the role, with the film slated to begin shooting in the second half of 2025.
