Salman Khan Will Not Reprise Chulbul Pandey in Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again: Reports
The much-anticipated third installment of Ajay Devgn’s Singham franchise, titled Singham Again, is all set to hit theaters this Diwali. As the excitement builds, rumors have circulated suggesting a possible cameo by Salman Khan, reprising his beloved character Chulbul Pandey from the Dabangg series. However, these speculations have been firmly dismissed.
As per a source or insider, “All reports about Chulbul Pandey appearing in Singham Again are completely fake and baseless. No production house has made any announcements regarding this, and Salman Khan has not filmed a cameo for the project.” The source emphasized that there has been no official confirmation from the film’s production team. The speculation gained traction among fans, who have long expressed a desire to see Salman Khan join this cinematic universe, especially after director Rohit Shetty hinted at the possibility. Unfortunately, for now, fans will have to wait a little longer to witness this collaboration.
While Salman Khan won’t be part of Singham Again, he is set to make a special cameo in another upcoming film, Baby John, starring Varun Dhawan, which is scheduled for release this Christmas. Singham Again features an impressive ensemble cast, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Tiger Shroff. This action-packed movie marks the fifth installment in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, which began with Singham in 2011 and continued with Singham Returns in 2014.
Other notable entries in this universe include Ranveer Singh’s Simmba, Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi, and Sidharth Malhotra’s web series Indian Police Force.In the meantime, Salman Khan is currently filming Sikandar, a high-octane action thriller directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The cast also features Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, and Kajal Aggarwal, with a release planned for Eid next year.
