Why SRK is Tweeting about Devdas?

srk tweeting about Devdas film

It’s been 14 years to see the film Devdas releasing in 2002. After around one and half decades of its release, it is interesting to see SRK tweeting about the same. This morning when SRK returned home working all night, he tweeted about the film saying it was long shooting with sparing the entire night and later thanked the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali to give him the opportunity to work for the film.

The film Devdas is based on a Bengali novel written by Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay released on 12th July 2002. The film featured lavish sets, with cool costumes having interesting and gorgeous ladies of the B Town namely Aishwarya Rai Bachchan playing Paro while Chandramukhi being played by Madhuri Dixit.

SRK went on to praise the beautiful ladies as well for playing the lead roles in the film. The film was screened at the prestigious film festival at Cannes the very same year it hit the theatres along with Aishwarya Rai who never missed any opportunity at the said place since then.

Yesterday when SRK was on the live chat at Twitter, he was posed a question by his fan asking about his love expression he then was seen giving reference to his film and the lovelorn along with the alcoholic hero image in it. The film Devdas swept the highest number of awards giving even the five national awards along with 10 filmfare trophies as well.
