Shiddat 2: Not Radhika Madhan, but THIS actress to co-star Sunny Kaushal in Shiddat 2
Sunny Kaushal received a lot of critical acclaim for his performance in his last year’s romantic drama ‘Shiddat’, where he co-starred with Radhika Madan. The film, which streamed on Disney+Hotstar was lauded for Sunny Kaushal’s performance as the main lead ‘Jaggi’.
And now it has been reported that Shiddat will return for its sequel with Sunny Kaushal reportedly reprising his role of Jaggi in the film. At the event organized by Jio Studios, it was announced that ‘Siddhat’ will return for its sequel. The film will be produced by Maddock Films and T-Series. But this time, Sunny will be cast opposite ‘Parineeti Chopra’.
Other facts concerning the film, such as when ‘Shiddat 2’ will begin production and who the other cast members are, have been kept under wraps by the makers as of now.
This will be Sunny and Parineeti’s first project together. Meanwhile, Sunny Kaushal is running high on the success of Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, where he was seen sharing a screen space with Yami Gautam. Helmed by Ajay Singh, the heist thriller streamed on Netflix and has reportedly broken many streaming records.
Apart from Shiddat 2, Sunny Kaushal will be next seen in the sequel of Haseena Dilruba, which has been titled ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba’. In the film, he will be seen cast opposite Vikrant Massey and Taapsee Pannu.
Parineeti Chopra was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya multi-statter ‘Uunchai’, where she was seen sharing a screen space with veteran artists like Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Neena Gupta, and Sarika.
