Priyanka is a happy woman now for two good reasons. The first one comes in the form of the success story of Mary Kom at the Box Office, while other reason to be happy is that Madhur Bhandarkar would direct her forthcoming movie Madamji. It would be her first home production movie, whom she wanted to be directed by ace director. Let’s not forget the fact that PC has been admiring Madhur Bhandarkar a lot for directing realistic movies, while his Fashion has given her the National Award as well. So, it was her wish to see this man directing this movie, which is being taken care by this known Bollywood director.
In Madamji, she would be in the lead role apart from being the producer of the said movie, while Madhur has agreed to direct her first movie making her the happiest woman in B Town. She calls her first movie to be her new and first step in a very different direction, which she has not tried yet. For her, she is often in a search of opportunities to evolve and thus wanted to be a producer one day. In her film, she wants to promote new and raw talents, which means she has plans to give chance to new actors, writers and others in her production team. Though for her the Box Office mathematics really don’t bother as she claims that she is often good at that.
