Shamshera: YRF officially revealed the leaked poster of Ranbir Kapoor; also announced the release date
Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film Shamshera is currently trending all over the internet as the actor looks revealing poster has leaked. After a few days of poster piracy, the makers of the film finally released the poster on their social media handle.
In this poster, Ranbir looks fiery with his ancient orthodox look. While sharing the poster YRF wrote, “Introducing Shamshera – the fierce warrior & the saviour of his tribe. Experience it in @imax in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. Celebrate #Shamshera with #YRF50 only at a theatre near you on 22nd July.”
Ranbir has been cast alongside the stunning Vaani Kapoor in this action thriller directed by Karan Malhotra. In this adrenaline-pumping entertainer, Ranbir will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar, while Sanjay Dutt will play his cruel enemy.
Ranbir is slated to return to the big screen after a three-year hiatus with this high-budget action thriller. Rajkumar Hirani’s biographical comedy-drama Sanju, based on the life of Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, was Ranbir’s most recent film. Ranbir received widespread acclaim for his portrayal of Sanjay Dutt, and the film went on to become the largest commercial success of its time, grossing Rs. 586.85 crore at the box office. Ranbir is back in the movies after a three-year hiatus, and he’s ready to show off his incredible acting abilities.
Talking about the film, its director Karan Malhotra, he said, said, “I am looking forward to Shamshera too. I hope it releases soon, and all of us enjoy it and have a blast. To be honest it’s too premature to say anything about Shamshera right now, because, currently, we are in a state when times are so vulnerable and unpredictable. We have not even ventured out into the PR zone of the film yet. But when the time is right we will talk about it for sure.”
