Bio – Shah Rukh Khan, is a very familiar name in India and even abroad. He is a popular Indian film actor, who was born in the year 1965 on 2nd November. He is informally referred as SRK, who is not only an actor, but producer, mentor, businessman, TV host and philanthropist. He also referred as the Badshah of Bollywood or simply King Khan. He has worked more than 50 different Hindi movies, which range from romance, action, comedy and negative roles. His work has brought forth a number of achievements, including 13 nominations and 14 Filmfare awards apart from getting the national award for the best actor category like Padma Shri by the Indian government in the year 2005, while one of the most prestigious awards by France government called the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in the year 2007.
He started his career by playing certain roles in TV serials namely Fauji and Circus in the late eighties, while he debuted in the film in the year 1992 called Deewana. This then led him to his unconventional choice of showcasing negative characters in the movies called Darr, Anjam, Baazigar, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, etc. however, with Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge in the year 1995 really changed his image in Bollywood. So with negative character he transformed into a romantic hero wherein he was seen playing movies like Dil to Pagal Hai in 1997, while Kuch Kuch sizzlinga Hai in 1998 and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham in the year 2001.
The success of these movie gave him the tag – The King of Romance, while in the year 2004, Khan was seen getting rounds of applaud for his film Swadesh in the year 2004, while his movie Chak De India in 2007 was widely appreciated. His other movies like Devdas in the year 2002 was appreciated for his titular while the movie My Name is Khan in 2010 was a big success. 13 of his big movies in which he acted made an amount of one billion INR all over the world, which established himself as a leading actor in the Hindi Cinema. Apart from being an actor, he also holds a key position in his motion picture production company called Red Chillies Entertainment, which his wife’s own. Also, he is the co-owner of the IPL team called Kolkata Knight Riders.
He was also seen taking his debut as a TV presenter in the game show called Kaun Banega Crorepati. SRK is also known as Brand SRK in the media for having a number of brand endorsements and a number of entrepreneurship ventures. He also involved in a number of philanthropic efforts, which relate to healthcare, children‘s education, relief funds, etc. for which he was even given the honor with UNESCO’s Pyramide con Mami award in the year 2011. SRK is among one of the biggest star in Bollywood world. Khan has billions of fans following not only in India but all over the world. According to LA Times, Khan is among the biggest film stars in the world. He is also among the top in the listing of influential names in Indian Culture, while Newsweek also was named as one of the top fifty powerful people in the world.
