Shahid Kapoor Not Getting 35 Crores the Jersey Remake

As Shahid Kapoor rises its fee for his upcoming films, he has put his demand of 35 Crores for the Jersey Remake film in the B Town. He asked for the whopping amount for getting into the shoes of the South Indian film actor Nani who played a key role in the film. However, it soon proved out to be a rumor since the actor is not getting that much amount for playing the lead role in the remake film from the South Indian film industry.

After the success of the film Kabir Singh, he has raised his fees and Shahid was considered for the remake of film Jersey considering him to be a bankable actor for it. But then Shahid quoted his staggering fee, which was in between 35 to 40 Crores For Nani’s Jersey Remake. However, the sources close to the makers claims the opposite. They claim that the film happens to be an emotional drama movie about a failed cricketer who also failed in his personal life losing his wife and kid in a big way.

Also, the budget of the original film was only 18 Crores, which even included the fee of the lead actor Nani in it. So, they cannot just pay that whopping amount of 35 Crores for the remake. This was just a hype created by the PR companies working with Shahid and others. The film Jersey remake will have Gowtham Tinnanauri, who is the same man who has directed the original movie. So, whether Shahid is in or out is still doubtful but he has not asked for that huge amount for the remake film.
