Since the release of his last movie Jab Harry Met Sejal by Imtiaz Ali, Shah Rukh Khan has been low profile in his media appearances and other public activities. The doing average business at the box office could be one of the concerns of the actor, but now as things settle down, he seems to be coming out from the disaster. We now hear about his next venture, which he is doing with the famous filmmaker Anand L Rai. The film has been in the news as it has the famous B Town stars like SRK, Katrina Kaif, and even Anushka Sharma.
Though the movie made the news for various reasons but every time it appeared, people had one question in common, which was the title of the film. Well, after a long wait, we get to hear the title of the movie called Batlaa, which means short man or small and is a common term we often hear in Mumbaiya language. The fact is the film had different titles as options including Meri Jaan and Rangbaaz to name a few, but after careful consideration, the title Batla was given to him. As per the sources, SRK in this movie would be playing the character, which makes the film about the dwarf.
The actor feels that the story is bigger than the character and then calls beyond a dwarf movie. Though the actor is not too short and has played the roles of different average men but with consultation with him, the makers have finalized this title for the film. The story in the movie is very much light-hearted hence if you are expecting something serious like Dear Zindagi give a second chance.As per reports, the film will hit the theatres next month and is supposed to complete the first schedule of the movie with SRK, Katrina, and Anushka.
