Shah Rukh Khan hasn’t charged 100 cr for Pathaan. Know the actual amount

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of his much-hyped film Pathaan. The film, which will be released in theatres next week, marks his return to filmmaking after a four-year hiatus. Several pieces of news about this film have created waves on the internet much before its release. One of them is a debate on SRK’s fees for Pathaan. The film has gained a lot of controversies, and both Shah Rukh and his die-hard fans are putting in their best efforts to make it a blockbuster.

This film, made under the banner of YRF and directed by Siddharth Anand, also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham as lead characters.

How much has Shah Rukh Khan charged for Pathaan? This question has been in the discussion for quite some time. It was previously reported that the actor is being paid a whopping amount of Rs. 100 crore for the film. Even a fan asked about King Khan’s fee in Pathaan during his #AskSRK session on Twitter. It looks like the 100 crore amount was merely a rumour. A media agency in India today revealed the actual amount charged by the actor for his role in the movie.

As per reports, Pathan has created on a high budget of Rs. 250 crores and Shah Rukh Khan has been paid somewhere around Rs. 35-40 crore for it. But wait! The superstar has also made another deal with the makers that states that he will be paid a huge sum of money if the film becomes a box-office hit.

According to the predictions made by trade professionals, the opening day business of Pathaan could be around Rs. 35–40 crores. As we can see, the tickets for this film are selling like crazy in the advance booking, which began a while ago. Many reviewers have also claimed that Pathaan will be the highest-grossing film so far.
