Coolie No. 1 Faces a Whopping 2 Crores Loss Due To Recent Fire Mishap

As Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan is busy shooting for their first film together called Coolie No. 1 in Mumbai, we hear that a fire has erupted in the sets leading a huge loss to the makers. Yes, you heard it right, the makers had to face a whopping 2 Crores loss due to the sudden and fatal fire erupting over the Mumbai sets during the late nights. Luckily the fire did not give any casualty that came out in the late-night.

It took few hours to control the fire using the fire brigades and police. With this, the makers seemed to have faced the whopping 2.5 Crores loss at the sets. As per the sources close to the makers, the major loss of the third party people who had supplied their material for the sets that seemed to have been destroyed. As per reports, the surveyor from the insurance company would be visiting the sets and he would then file the report to kick off the claim procedure.

As per the media reports, both the producers Jackky Bhagnani and David Dhawan are yet to give any official figure of the loss but the sources close to the film hint the same. The film happens to be the remake of Govinda film Coolie No. 1 with Karishma Kapoor released in 1996. Both Sara and Vaurn have just completed their Bangkok shoot last month. They had shot for the song called Husn Hai Suhana, which comes from one of the old movies in B Town. The movie also has Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Johnny Lever in the lead roles.
