Sana Khan Trolled for Wanting More Kids: “Easy With Nanny & Servants,” Say Netizens

Sana Khan has recently revealed her second pregnancy with her husband, Anas Saiyad. Currently in her third trimester, she has been sharing updates with her fans on her official Instagram account. However, her remarks regarding having 10 or more children and her comments on postpartum depression have sparked significant backlash. Here’s a closer look at the situation.

What Sana Khan Said

In a viral video on Instagram, Sana expressed her appreciation for her husband, Anas, who she described as caring during her pregnancy. She also shared a personal anecdote, mentioning that Anas fainted while she was delivering their first son.

Sana stated, “Of course, I would love to have more kids. 5 bachcha ho, 10 bachche ho. Pehle ke zamane me toh log 12-12 bachche kar lete the. (I want 5 kids, 10 kids. Earlier, people would give birth to 12 kids).”
Netizens ReactThe reactions from social media users have been largely critical, with many urging Sana to be more responsible as a public figure.

  • One user questioned, “How can you normalize that 10 or 12 kids are okay?”
  • Another commented, “Easy for you to say with nanny and all the servants working around you to take care of the baby and do all the house chores that the depression that women after giving birth goes through is not real.”
  • A viewer pointed out, “No….it’s not about whether they can afford it or not….it’s about national wealth and overpopulation being a national concern….SHAME on you for promoting 10/12 childbirth in a developing nation like India.”
  • Another user remarked, “Sana Khan you are a public figure speaking on a public platform. You should be careful about what you preach. Our planet cannot handle more population at this point in time. I hope you inspire people to act intelligently and not spread misinformation.”
  • One more comment highlighted, “Message clear hona chahie tha. Ajkal sab aesa nahi soch sakte. Bachon ka kya hai pal jaen ge janwar k tau nahi hain jo aese hi pal jaen ge. Bohat kuch dekhna hota hai…. I will prefer less kids so that I can focus on every aspect financial, social, mental, education etc.”

As of now, Sana Khan has not publicly addressed the backlash.
