Santhosh Narayanan, celebrated for his remarkable music compositions in South Indian cinema, is set to make his debut in Bollywood. This new venture marks a significant milestone in his illustrious career, during which he has redefined Tamil film music through acclaimed projects like Attakathi, Kabali, and Jigarthanda. Recently, Santhosh composed the soundtrack for Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin and featuring stars like Prabhas and Kamal Haasan. The music received widespread acclaim, further establishing his reputation as a versatile composer. Following this success, Santhosh was invited to work in Bollywood, leading to his involvement in the upcoming film Sikandar.

Joining the High-Profile Team of Sikandar

Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar features Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in the lead role, alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Suniel Shetty, and Sathyaraj. Reports suggest that Santhosh Narayanan will be responsible for composing the background score, while Pritam will handle the film’s songs, marking his sixth collaboration with Salman Khan.

Production and Release Details

The shooting for Sikandar commenced in June 2024, with filming taking place across various locations in Mumbai and Europe. Salman Khan has undergone extensive training to prepare for the film’s high-octane action sequences. With a star-studded cast and an exceptional creative team, the film is highly anticipated and is slated for release during Eid al-Fitr 2025.
