Salman Khan’s Extended and Entertaining Special Appearance in Sunny Deol’s Gabru
Sunny Deol made a massive impact in 2023 with the blockbuster Gadar 2, and further cemented his success with Jaat (2025), proving his powerful comeback was no coincidence. Fans eagerly await his upcoming projects, starting with Border 2 releasing on Republic Day 2026, followed closely by the emotional drama Gabru. The makers of Gabru have a special surprise in store — superstar Salman Khan will be seen in an extended and entertaining cameo.
As per the Bollywood portal (Bollywood Hungama) sources, “The makers wanted a star who could add extra charm to the film, and Salman Khan was the perfect choice. He loved the role and its significance to the story. He quietly shot his parts over a year ago, and the scenes turned out wonderfully.
”Salman’s cameo in Gabru is described as heartfelt and highly entertaining. The source shared, “He appears in three scenes, making it an extended special appearance. Although Salman and Sunny Deol share a close friendship, they have worked together only once before in Jeet (1996). They were both part of Heroes (2008), but never shared screen space. This rare opportunity to act alongside Sunny again motivated Salman to join Gabru.
”Besides Gabru, Salman Khan will also feature in another special appearance in Raja Shivaji, releasing on May 1, 2026. In this historical film, Riteish Deshmukh plays the lead role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, while Salman essays Jiva Mahala, one of Maharaj’s trusted warriors.
At the same time, Salman will lead the much-anticipated war film Battle Of Galwan slated for release in the first half of 2026.With multiple exciting projects lined up, Salman Khan continues to maintain his strong presence in Bollywood, and his special appearance in Gabru is expected to delight fans and add a unique touch to Sunny Deol’s emotional drama.
