Official Confirmation: Shraddha Kapoor Joins Kartik Aaryan in Chandu Champion as Female Lead
Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan’s upcoming film, Chandu Champion, has been generating a lot of excitement in the media. Bollywood Hungama had confirmed the title and release date of the film a few days before the official announcement. We have now learned exclusively that Shraddha Kapoor has been confirmed to play the female lead in the film.
We see the film starring Kartik Aaryan and to be helmed by Kabir Khan called Chandu Champion, seems to be garnering loads of buzz in the media in recent times. Now, we hear about Shraddha Kapoor getting on board for the same. The makers are yet to give the final confirmation on the release date, while Shraddha’s inclusion came as an official announcement from them. Shraddha Kapoor seems to be excited working with Kartik as she got the chance to do a cameo in the film Tu Jhooti Mai Makkar. She has also confirmed the role for the said movie.Â
As said Kartik Aaryan and Shraddha Kapoor’s upcoming film, Chandu Champion, will mark their first on-screen collaboration. The two actors previously shared screen space in Luv Ranjan’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, where Kartik had a cameo. In addition to Chandu Champion, Shraddha has a number of other projects in the works, including Stree 2.
There seems to be a buzz about Chandu Champion that the film is all set to hit on June 14, 2024. It is a sports biopic on Murlikant Petkar and we know how Petkar had achieved significant milestones by bagging Gold Medal at the Commonwealth Games in 1970 and even in Germany at the Paralympics in 1970 and 1972 respectively. The said project was supposed to have Sushant Singh Rajput but his demise led to the changes in the film and even delayed it a little long. Stay tuned for more!
