As Salman Khan and Prabhu Dheva gave the film Wanted around 10 years back on Eid 2009 release, we now hear the duo is planning the 2009 sequel. However, the film was produced by Boney Kapoor and he wants to get the sequel without having Salman in it which makes the superstar reject this idea and allow him to proceed with the franchise.
On the other side, the duo is gearing up for the sequel and they do not want Boney Kapoor to be involved in it for some personal reasons. If you remember that Salman Khan’s former sister in law Malaika Arora is having an affair with Arjun Kapoor that hat hampered the relations of Boney Kapoor with Salman Khan. But one thing is sure, he is very much sure about doing the sequel of Wanted.
As per the sources, the duo is seen having the Wanted sequel with Prabhu Dheva as his Eid 2020 release. Thus Salman’s Wanted sequel would be likely to be made under his own production banner – Salman Khan Films. The two have not even cared to take the consent of Boney Kapoor but the fact is they would do the sequel for sure.
