Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 is one of the most awaited films of the year. The film is facing many difficulties due to the COVID-19 crisis. First, the schedule was hit by the second wave of covid-19, later the set was damaged due to the cyclone Tauktae. Now according to the reports, the makers have decided to finally resume the shoot.
The reports also suggested that the makers are planning to do an international shoot in August. A report published in Mid-Day, says producer Aditya Chopra has given his nod to the possibility of resuming filming in Mumbai. He is waiting to be ensured that the team is fully vaccinated. Director Maneesh Sharma is also preparing to return to the set too.
A source revealed to the daily was quoted as saying, “Of the cast, only the leads will report to the set for the first few days. Maneesh sir wants to film a few dramatic sequences with them”.
The shoot is expected to begin on July 23. The producer will reportedly shoot the sequence in different parts of the world with Salman Khan.
The source added, “With the situation improving, Aditya and Maneesh are keen to pursue their plan of an international schedule. The team is likely to head out of the country post August 15. While the destinations have yet to be locked, Europe and the Middle East form a part of the narrative. So, they thought it would be wiser to shoot the remaining portions at a market in Dubai”.
